Have you ever wondered...

  • What is the building enclosure as a system?
  • How does the HVAC impact the building envelope?
  • What it is made up of and how do the pieces work together?
  • Air Barrier / Vapour Barrier Flashings - why do it this way?
  • What are the heat, air and moisture processes that are at work on the building enclosure?
  • Movement of moisture in a building - physics and theory which will answer the 'why'.
  • What does it all even mean?  Standard terms as used in the industry will be reviewed.

Come find out!

MBEC is hosting a half day workshop on Building Science 101 to answer those questions.  A panel of expertise will be on hand to discuss and dissect these and other topics.
