Building Design Professionals are often exposed to product performance claims that seem too good to be true and to new design concepts that work great in other climates or applications. A good understanding of building science is needed to get past the hype and find the truth.

MBEC has once again assembled a Building Science Professionals panel that will help you resolve whether an idea is good or too good to be true.  Panel members are prepared to clarify some issues that they are frequently asked about.  So, whether you have a question on building science, or just want to come out for some fun, the following panel will bring their expertise to the table, all in one room!

Panel Board:

  • Mr. Laverne Dalgleish, Building Professionals Inc.
  • Mr. Ryan Dalgleish, Building Professionals Inc.
  • Mr. John Wells, Crosier Kilgour & Partners Ltd.
  • Mr. Gary Proskiw, Proskiw Engineering Ltd.
  • Mr. John Hockman, J.L. Hockman Consulting Inc.
  • Mr. Rick Marshall, BIRD Construction
  • Mr. Bert Phillips, UNIES Ltd.
  • Mr. Eric Bjornson, Sundial Building Performance Inc.
  • Mr. John VanLeewen, Constructs Design Studio

Space is limited, so RSVP well in advance to confirm a seat.  Advance registration will be required to gain admittance.
